Kids in Business started as a physical market. Not a concept. Not a pilot. A real event with 62 kids running their own stalls, handling their own money, and walking away with hundreds of dollars they earned themselves.
One of our founder's 7-year-old daughter made $700 in a single day selling natural soaps and balms she made herself. She was a kid. That moment is why this exists.
We watched kids transform in real time. The quiet ones found their voice. The anxious ones found confidence. Every single kid who stood behind a stall and made their first sale understood something in that moment that no classroom could teach them.
We ran markets consistently. They worked every time. But the workload was unsustainable. Revenue covered costs and nothing more. The infrastructure wasn't there.
So we stopped. And we started rebuilding.
This course is the curriculum we wished existed at the time. The KidsMart platform is the operating system that makes markets scalable. And the community organiser model means Kids in Business can exist in every city in Australia without everything running through just two people.
This is the comeback. And it's going to be bigger than anything we first imagined.

Kids in Business is built by a small founding team with 20+ years of combined ecommerce, marketplace, and education experience. We've built it from the ground up, from physical markets to digital platform, with a very personal reason to make this work.
